Our general area - where we are

Follonico 4-Suite B & B is strategically located about 5 km from Montepulciano, world reknown for its Renaissance architecture and the famous Vino Nobile (the first Italian wine to carry the DOCG label). Nearby, the town of Montefollonico is a jewel of medieval origins, even more precious in that it has yet to be 'discovered' by the tourist crowds.

Follonico is 6km from Torrita di Siena, where you can find most of the services (restaurants, shops and markets) you will require.

Scenic walking tracks are close to the farm and you will find safe, paved roads throughout the surrounding countryside with an almost complete absence of traffic.

The main tourist areas within the province of Siena are reachable within 30-45 minutes. You will find if you deviate from the main roads and drive on the alternate routes, more remote but absolutely charming unpaved roads that lead to places that seem to have stopped in time.
